Ryan Scott (b. 2003) grew up in western Maryland eating seafood and doodling in sketchbooks between classes. His work aims to recreate the simple joys of creativity through a clever use of design principles that blend eccentricity and humor.
In 2022 he graduated from Saint James School, a coeducational boarding high school located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Here, he was awarded the Noble C. Powell Prize for Creative Fidelity and MacLeod Prize for Excellence in Art in June of 2022, serving as a lead designer for the theater program and yearbook club as well as submitting designs to be used for future school branding and merchandise.
Scott is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
More recently, he likes to spend his time watching old movies, making art, and doing laundry.
