RISD GD Fall 2025 Open Studio Poster—A modular risograph poster designed as both a takeaway print and opportunity to create unique pins during an on-campus event.
In the fall of 2025, as a member of RISD's Graphic Design Student Representative team, I volunteered to design a poster to be given away to visitors touring our Design Center studio space during Parents' Weekend at RISD.
Printed using three risograph inks, I created a stylized, vector illustration of the campus building itself. Below, I designed instructions for visitors to cut away part of the poster in order to make custom one inch buttons using a button maker in one of our Type Shops.
The posters were a hit with visitors, allowing new and returning members of the community to hold on to a building directory that doubled as a tool to express your creativity.
