Let Me Pica Your Brain—Editorial design for a printed interview with type designer and cofounder of Dinamo, Johannes Breyer.
In the Spring of 2025 I, along with another RISD Graphic Design student named James Burgat, had the opportunity to chat with Johannes Breyer via Zoom and learn about his creative process, the importance of collaboration, and the current state of the design industry.
Much of Johannes' work and Dinamo by extension focuses on creating unique, eye-catching visuals that go beyond what is required of a typical type design study, so I thought incorporating this colorful, rule-breaking, and humorous language into my design of this newspaper layout would make perfect sense.
