Poster, gif, and pin designed during a five-week unit of Design Studio 1 with Emily Rye in the first semester of my sophomore year at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). The project was designed to explore the visual vocabulary of graphic design —color, shape, image treatment, typographic form, and composition— and start to familiarize us with some of the tools graphic designers use to generate and manipulate these forms.
The project concluded with a group show of other students ‘object posters' along with a pin design and a short gif in the GD Commons area located on the first floor of the Design Center.
Poster designed in Adobe Illustrator and printed at 24”x36” scale. Animated gif made in Adobe After Effects.
